First UMC offers several opportunities to connect to God and Christ through music.
Chancel Choir sings twice a month and rehearses weekly. They generally sing anthems and lead the hymns during the worship service.
The Praise band sings twice a month and rehearses weekly. The generally sing praise and other contemporary music.
The praise band and the choir do overlap and work together.
Chimes- Christina Bryan leads a chime group for those 4 and up who wish to play chimes in worship. This group generally practices for a month and then plays in worship.
We also love to have special music during the year.
