2010 LENTEN STUDY SERIES Beginning on Sunday, February 21st we will present a Lenten Study Series entitled, "24 Hours that Changed the World". It is based on the Book by Adam Hamilton.The series format is a light supper at 6:00 PM and the Study begins at 6:30. We are done by 7:30.The series will run February 21 & 28, March 7, 14, 21 & 28.Come and be blessed by this amazing study. The dinner and Study will be in the Fellowship Hall.	March 28th - Palm Sunday Services April 1st - Holy Thursday Dinner and Service - Dinner at 6:00pm - Service at 7:00pm April 2nd - Good Friday Service - 7:30pm April 4th - Easter Sunrise Service - 6:30am Easter Celebrations at 8:30am & 11:00am
S.T.E.P.S. Children's Education March STEPS Education is based on the theme: "Easter Holy Week" based on Luke 24:1-12 Come experience the food of Jesus' day, the music he would have grown up with, and some of the clothing Jesus with which he would have been familiar.	WORSHIP at First UMC of Golden Three Worship Opportunities to Fit Your Needs 8:30 AM - A lively, praise style worship led by our Praise Band encorporates guitar, keyboard and congas to invite the worshipper into God's presence. 11:00 Am - The rich musical styles of our pipe organ and Chancel Choir form the foundation of this powerful worship esperience. Taize Style Worship meets once a month at 6:00 pm, normally on the first Sunday of the month. For April, Taize will meet on April 11th (the second Sunday).
EDUCATION for Everyone! From toddlers through the oldest adult, we have classes for everyone. Three ongoing adult classes provide the backbone of our Adult Education. S.T.E.P.S. (Stories Told, Experienced, Practiced and Shared) is a rotation model children's education that meets a variety of learning styles with foundational learning for the Christian life.
	ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING SPECIAL OFFERING ON MARCH 14TH AND THE FOLLOWING WEEKS The One Great Hour of Sharing Offering goes to support all of the Administrative Costs for UMCOR (The United Methodist Committee on Relief). The result is that EVERY dollar you give to UMCOR goes to the specified project, and NOT to administrative costs. GENEROUSLY SUPPORT ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING
