Our goal is to love youth where they are, provide them with opportunities that develop deeper and loving relationships to God and each other, and to challenge them to respond to God's call to serve in the community.

We do this through worship services, church and sunday school, fellowship activities (what some may remember as "UMYF"), confirmation, and mission projects (both local and international in scope).

Youth Ministry is open to all teens from 12 - 18 years of age. You can find us on Tuesday nights at the church between 7 -8 p.m.

YOUTH MINISTRIES AT GOLDEN FIRST UMC:

Church and Sunday School
Youth Sunday school is at 9:45 am, throughout the year. Vacation Bible School (VBS) has long been a UMC tradition, and confirmation classes occur every year as necessary for any youth 6th grade or older.

Youth Group
Regular meeting is every Tuesday evening from 7-8 pm. If we're serving in mission, or participating in a fellowship or study activity, we also have another longer meeting time which varies, depending on the event.

Youth Extravaganza
The Holiday Extravaganza is an warm evening of great fun. Our youth produce a Christmas musical, fashion show, and serve a holiday meal all in one night.
