| It doesn't matter if you don't know what the Gosepls are -- or where you would find them. | |||
| It doesn't matter if you've never heard of Epiphany, Lent or Advent. | |||
| It doesn't matter if you don't know the Lord's Prayer. | |||
| It doesn't matter if you didn't grow up in a Christian church. | |||
| But maybe you're finding yourself in awe at the beauty and complexity of the world around you. Or maybe you've recently felt yourself moved to reach out to someone in need. Perhaps you've recently felt a desire to work on the relationships in your life. Or perhaps you've felt an urge to dig deeper into those things that seem to give life meaning... If so, God's Spirit -- what we call the Holy Spirit -- may be at work within you! If you find that you are 'seeking' more, then allow yourself to entertain the thought that perhaps God is also 'seeking' -- perhaps God is seeking relationship with you! It is fortunate for all of us that it's never too late to establish relationship with God! Relationship with God is not about the amount of religious knowledge we posess, nor the theology we hold dear, nor the doctrines we uphold. Relationship comes from the heart. Relationship is about love! |
