commissions: Church and Society and Missions! |

| Both commissions- Church and Society, and Missions- support a wide variety of programs which are devoted to the betterment of our world. Please take a few moments to examine these efforts! |
Christians are challenged to use their time and talent in service
to others. We are also challenged, in service, to use our gifts
as best we may:

| CHURCH AND SOCIETY |
The purpose of the Church and Society Commission is to
inform, raise consciousness, and act on social issues, inspired by Jesus Christ and the prophets."Church and Society supports programs which deal with Peace with Justice issues, such as hunger, shelter, race relations, disarmament, family crisis, aging, drug abuse, environment, prison reform, and migrant children. Projects undertaken by our congregation include:

The purpose of Missions is to
focus the attention and and concerns of the congregation on human and spiritual needs around the world.Basic Missions responsibilities include educating and motivating the congregation for missions projects, involving members in mission and service projects, challenging members to act as missionaries, and financially supporting the missions efforts of the United Methodist Church. Projects undertaken by our congregation include:
