The Casados Family groundbreaking occurred on October 14, 2000 in Brush, Colorado. This project was a joint effort of the "Loaves and Fishes" and "Morgan County" Habitat for Humanity affiliations. It was a day of hard work- and of great fellowship! Take a few moments to learn more about Habitat for Humanity here [click]. |
| ABOUT HABITAT FOR HUMANITY |
| Habitat for Humanity is a Christian ministry which hopes to eliminate poverty housing. Habitat for Humanity is designed to build lives as well as houses. Here in The West, it represents a continuation of the tradition of neighbor helping neighbor! Habitat for Humanity is a partnership between homeowners and volunteers. Our houses are sold to Christians at no profit and no interest. Future homeowners make a down payment in terms of "sweat equity" which means working many hours on their own house or on other Habitat projects. The new homeowner then makes monthly mortgage payments which come back to Habitat for Humanity so that more homes may be built. Habit for Humanity builds relationships within communities while building homes. We help families who are already helping themselves and their communities! |
