Golden First UMC is proud to have two from our congregation Denise Bender and Cliff Pike attending Denver's Iliff School of Theology. Denise is our Director of Christian Education and Youth. She will pursue a Master of Divinity Degree and is initially leaning towards Ordination as a Deacon in the UMC.	Denise Bender	Cliff Pike
Cliff is Lay Leader at Golden First UMC and is pursuing the ministry following a long career in education and school administration. Cliff will also pursue a Master of Divinity Degree and is leaning towards Ordination as an Elder in the United Methodist Church. Golden First UMC wishes Cliff and Denise much success in their learning and in the challenges which lie ahead. May God bless them -- and use them as servant / leaders in the church!
